At LVGA, golf is more than just a game — it’s a way of life.
Weekly competition. Monthly tournaments. Optional side games for golfers who want pressure—not excuses.
At LVGA, we welcome all skill levels—but we’re built for players who want to get better, compete, and feel something on the back nine. A little pressure goes a long way, and that’s exactly where growth happens.

LVGA isn’t a casual meetup or a dead group chat.
It’s a structured golf community built for players who value competition, consistency, and showing up.
What That Means
This isn’t about filling tee times.
It’s about building better golfers—and a community that actually lasts.

LVGA FAIRWAYS & FIRE – 2 PERSON TEAM SCRAMBLE CHAMPIONSHIP RECAP
Another great day for the LVGA crew as we took over beautiful Highland Falls Golf Club on Saturday, May 9 for the 2026 Fairways & Fire 2-Person Team Scramble Championship!
First off… weather once again showed love to LVGA. Perfect conditions, solid pace of play, and a fun competitive atmosphere all day long. Highland Falls was in fantastic shape and gave us a little bit of everything — risk/reward holes, fast greens, and enough trouble to keep teams honest.
John Fudenberg & Norman Stalzer absolutely brought the heat, firing a stellar 6-under par 66 to take the Gross Championship and the top prize money. In a scramble format where birdies are mandatory, these guys stayed aggressive and consistent from start to finish.
Gross Results:
🥇 John Fudenberg / Norman Stalzer — 66 (-6)
🥈 Rob Kishi / Jay Kishi — 69 (-3)
🥉 Greg Aversa / Robert Eustice — 72 (E)
T3 Mike Brocki / Shane Hudson — 72 (E)
The Net division turned into an absolute shootout. Mick Godfrey & Bryan Driscoll went nuclear with a ridiculous 14-under 58 to capture the Net Championship. Chris Scharff & Brandon Fillmore matched the same number, but Mick & Bryan won on tiebreaker.
Net Results:
🥇 Mick Godfrey / Bryan Driscoll — 58 (-14)
🥈 Chris Scharff / Brandon Fillmore — 58 (-14)
🥉 John Fudenberg / Norman Stalzer — 59 (-13)
4️⃣ Danny Acosta / Eddie Williams — 63 (-9)
Big congrats to all the winners and everyone who came out to compete. 👏
Now real talk… turnout was definitely lighter compared to last month’s Desert Madness 2-Person Best Ball Championship. Not sure if it was:
• the scramble format
• the golf course selection
• or maybe just having tournaments too close together
Would genuinely love some feedback from the members via email to hendra@lvga.club because we’re always trying to make these events better and more fun for everyone.
Maybe the move is doing the bigger team events once every other month instead of monthly. We’re listening.
Either way, appreciate every single player who continues supporting LVGA and helping us build one of the most active golf communities in Vegas. More events coming soon. 🔥⛳
We are one of the top Southern Nevada Golf Association member clubs.

This November, golf’s most underrated rivalry explodes in Las Vegas.
The Las Vegas Golfers Association (LVGA) defends home turf against the invading forces of ORACG – On the Road Again Golf Club from Sacramento.
📅 Dates: Saturday & Sunday, November 15–16
📍 Location: Angel Park Golf Club – Las Vegas
👥 Format: 20 vs 20 – For pride, for glory, for $2,000
💰 Winner Takes All: Cash. Trophy. Bragging rights. Forever.
DAY 1 – “TEAM CHEMISTRY OR DIVORCE COURT?”
Two-man teams. One mission: survive your partner.
Sunday. Singles matches.
Twenty players. Twenty battles. Every shot counts. Every point matters.
This is where legends rise… and excuses are born.
They’re driving down from Sacramento with confidence.
* We’re walking in with purpose.
* They think they’re ready.
* We know they’re not. 😎
This is LVGA turf — where fairways are fast, beers are cold, and the trash talk is elite.
This isn’t just golf. This is WAR — with putters, nerves of steel, and a few “foot wedges” nobody saw. So buckle up, Vegas. The showdown is coming. May the best team win…and by “best team,” we obviously mean LVGA.
